Volterra was the initiator, fundraiser and producer of this successful musical.
Soldier of Orange is a Dutch musical production, based on the true story of
resistance hero Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema. In the 1970s, he wrote his experiences
during World War II down in a book and director Paul Verhoeven made it into
a feature film. The musical premiered on October 30, 2010 in a theatre that was
purpose-build for the production: the TheaterHangaar on the former air base
Valkenburg in Katwijk. Queen Beatrix attended the premiere together with
Karin Hazelhoff Roelfzema who had come over from Hawai'i for the occasion.
1 photographer, all the countries of the world, taking photos and making films
in the mainstreets of the world, to create a portrait of what our world looks like,
what humanity looks like at the beginning of the 21st century. Volterra is
fundraiser and producer of this worldwide project.
Volterra co-produced this musical for kids together with Mark Events and
New Productions.
Volterra acquired the filmrights of the bestselling debut novel Michiel Stroink.
